Who We Are
ShadExpress designs, builds, and installs custom awnings and canopies for homes and businesses located in Toronto and surrounding areas. In this text, the words "we," "us," and "our" are used as shorthand for ShadExpress. The word "you" refers to the client or business hiring ShadExpress.
Our Services
We design, build, and install custom awnings, canopies, covers, and enclosures. Since every project is unique, your quote or project agreement will outline the specific scope, materials, and finish.
Quotes, Measurements, and Pricing
We base our quotes on the details and measurements we have at the start. After we visit your location and take measurements, we make sure the price and work are clear. Because our products are made for you your quote is fixed once you say yes. We send it to you in writing.
Deposits and Payment
Custom work usually requires a deposit before we begin fabrication. The balance of Custom work is due as set out in your agreement. We will confirm the deposit amounts and the schedule when you book.
Permits
Some projects require a permit or approval. We can help with this if we agree to do so, but the final decision is up to the local authority, and their timelines may affect your project.
Scheduling and Access
Installation dates are set by how we can finish your order and how ready your site is. On the installation day keep the work area clear and easy to reach. Access problems, weather or site conditions can delay the schedule.
Changes to the Project
If you request changes after you've approved the project, this may change the price or timeline. We'll confirm any changes with you in writing before we move forward.
Warranty
We stand by our work, and some materials may also have a manufacturer's warranty. We'll explain what's covered in your agreement. Warranties do not cover misuse, changes made by others, or damage from weather or accidents.
Damage and Liability
We do our best to take care of your property. If we cause any damage during installation, please let us know within 24 hours. We are not responsible for problems that existed before or things we can't control. Our responsibility is limited to the amount you paid for the project.
Your Responsibilities
Please provide accurate information and access, confirm your property lines and any restrictions, and approve the designs before we start making your order.
